Transformation of our current extreme inequality and organized violence-based society into a society principled on peaceful well-being of all is inevitable, but protraction significantly increases the risk of an accidental or intentional nuclear holocaust.
A major grant would enable the swift design of a new societal system and speedy mobilization of the majority of the population, necessary for nonviolent transformation.
At the end of 2018, the world’s adult population was 4.96 billion:
Political scientist Erica Chenoweth documented that active participation of only 3.5% of the population is enough to ensure serious political change. Angelmedia believes that a fundamental social change requires the support of the majority of population – about 2.5 billion people.
In mid 2019, 4.5 billion people were using Internet:
A peer-to-peer online campaign could reach 80% of Internet users (3.6 bn) and attain the support of 50% of human population. How long would it take to mobilize 2.5 billion people?
If only 20 people would start online recruitment campaigns, and each one of them would recruit only 1 person per week, and each recruited person would do the same, over 50% of the world’s population could be supporting the vision of a more equitable and peaceful world within 6 months:
