Personal Data

Angelmedia will not sell, trade, or share Personal Data with non-Angelmedia entities, nor will it send any mailings on behalf of other organizations.

Children Under the Age of 16

Our website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent. No one under age 16 may provide any personal data to or on our website.

If you are under 16, do not:

  • Use or provide any of your personal data on our website or on or through any of its features.
  • Register on our website, or make any purchases or submission through our website.
  • Use any of the interactive or public comment features of our website.

If we learn we have received personal data from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that personal data. If you believe we might have any personal data from or about a child under the age of 16, please contact us at info@nullangelmedia.org.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and IPaddress in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behave in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with anyone unless we are required to do so by a law or court order.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How we protect your data

We have implemented technical and operational measures designed to secure your personal data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Additionally:

  • All personal data you provide to us is stored in password-protected databases on our secure servers behind firewalls and we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure that the transmission of sensitive data is encrypted and appropriately safeguarded.
  • Employees are trained on the importance of data security and focus on practices for protecting against unauthorized disclosure of personal data.
  • We have a documented incident response plan for promptly acting upon events that violate Angelmedia’s security or privacy policies, should they occur.

The safety and security of your personal data also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Passwords registered with our website are encrypted to ensure protection against unauthorized access to your personal data.

Unfortunately, the transmission of personal data via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal data transmitted to our website or over any public network. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk. Without prejudice to any mandatory legal obligations to which we may be subject, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on our website.
